> MORAYFIELD UPDATE?
Anyone know about the Morayfield park updates?
For those who don't know, Morayfield is just north of Brisbane with a big transition orientated park and now soon to get a street course as well.
Skatebase people or others who know, put some info up for the rest of us please?
One of the best mini ramps in QLD I think too...

Fuck yeah mark, finally i get to see the morayfield one. Springfield ones where still hot though.
Saw Tony from Skatebase the other day. Apparently there is 120G to do some work there. I do believe they have set aside some separate funding to replace the bitumen with concret. They really want to get some street action going there and they are looking at leading the park off into the basketball area.
good to hear they have so much - at first Tony was saying they didn't think they had enough to even get a decent street area, but that should be good now.
The plans he was showing in the shop before bowlriders looked good - banks, hips, rails and blocks of intermediate to advanced level to keep everyone happy rather than ankle high ledges and knee high rails...
We shall see, but either way it should be good for those up that way.
anyone wanna skate morayfield tomoro (29th of june) coz im goin up wit a cuple of frenz if so ill be wearing black dcs or white axions and jeans and a DC shirt

Myself, Tombo and the Boss went there just after the extension was finished and it sucked ass. The new part of the mini is shit too.
i went there when i was on holidays.
wasnt that great compared to how it used to be, the "street section" is lame and compacked to the shit!
also you are bound to see at least 2000000 bmxers (exageration may have occured in the content above)
