hey people ...
similar to another post on here were looking at building a indoor park in newcastle ...
wondering if people are interested ?
i was thinking out cardiff area due to the easy access to public transport and kinda central or maybe even in the industrial area near hunnysuckle?

Where are you up to with this?
I'd like to see something like the two levels of the Ring of Fire indoor in Braysbrook Melbourne under a Newcastle roof. Plans/Backing/???????????
We don't need another Slam Factory. Give me Ring O' Fire!!!!
Cardiff - Use Slam
Sydney - Use Monster
Newcastle - Build one completely different to slam, because slam is still there, so you have a choice of either.
its a rad idea but the park has to be something different, euros and what not some stuff that we dont get to skate
yer were looking at somthing completly different to slam.
were still just in the idea stage as i dont know if it is worth the dollars.
no backing as per yet but im sure it wont be too hard.
plans some but nothing overly exciting
anyone got somthing interesting in the way of plans send though to adam_ferris@pacific.net.au
also i would like somthing dual level but it all a matter of $$ and interest .

id support that for sure, slam is too far for a spare of the moment skate, but id definately use an indoor park closer to newi
I'd be there every second day for sure...newcastle lacks wet spots/night spots....an indoor park would be heavily used in Newcastle...especially during winter...
Just think...some days...all the various crews meet up unplanned and make a crew of 30 at an everyday spot...an indoor park would be even better

I looked at the use of indoor parks as part of an academic requirement and the one thing i can tell you is that accountant types who manage/own indoor parks rarely get it right.
Ask yourself, why would someone pay to skate when they can skate for free?
When you get the answer to that then you can start to develop an indoor park that will actually be viable. I developed some other findings but the validity of them need to be more throughly tested so I won;t post them and pretend to give you wise advice
well if its in a hot environment and you air con it (although extremely expensive) and make the park extremely good (design and construction wise) then i reckon you'd have a chance of getting it off the ground
just dont have the same old ramps example make little things that stand out such as having a pyramid with some kind of ledge that only you have and things like that.
if the park is fun to skate then it will be skated.
can i have a job?
