> FIVE DOCK BOWL BUILDERS
nepean concrete industries are building the park. prepare yourself for a high qaulity footpath and driveway setup.
Yes Paul, they already fukt up Parramatta. I do beleive that it's one of the worst fuk ups since Five Docks original bowl was built.
I heard a rumour that they undercut everyone else by 100k. If that's the case, what happened to the rest of the budget? Pollies back pocket maybe.
I'll just say that I'm not happy at all, and will be calling the council as soon as I get some sleep and feel less inclined to inflict serious injury to all the people involved in this debacle.
Yeah, and maybe You can mention the Parramatta project and how they tried to shrug it off by trying to putty it.
I think its more an issue with insurance and how families will being sueing the Council, then them sueing the contractors for tending to a half rated job???
I'm there if ya need support Mick....
Nepean have learnt a lesson huge after Parra, not bad for a first attempt the rest of Parra is perfect those trannys dont have a blemish on them. Im sure that Five Dock will come out fine and the guy there takes a lot of pride in his work, he is always open to understanding of why, so with a little guidance he will get it done how it should be.
Not only that, they dont screw around so it will be done fairly quick id imagine and his steel job is a work of art.
Yeah GH, but is it the little fuck ups we are left with worth having the park a week earlier? I've waited 22 years for Five Dock to catch up to the rest of the world with a new skatepark. And I don't mind waiting a little longer.
Shit! This all started in October of 03 when I was still living in China. I could have raised another hundred grand for the park if the council had let me do a fundraiser.
Oh yeah. I wasn't too fond of the uneven coping at Parra GH. I can't help but mention the convex euro gap with a roll over instead of a crisp edge. The only thing they seemed to get right was the SQUARE ledges.
I WANT EXPERIENCED SKATEPARK BUILDERS!
Mick to achieve pure satisfaction I think your going to have to revert to the old ways. That is go down to the local construction site, rip of all their materials and build your own stuff. Councillors are not interested in anything except the dollar signs that seem permanently etched into the back of their eyelids.
ANyone who can should approach them and offer advice for free.
They would be stupid not to take it as it will only help them with reputation, right?
Just a suggestion

Well you could start by getting a new hair dou.
mick has finished with MILO and wants to get sponsorship from VB ( very bitter ). I believe he is in discussions with MAL as regards his hair sponsorship.
har har har.. As if you can talk Greg. You had the same hair when I first met you. And at least I've moved on from flat tops and colouring my hair once a week. Chad has had a flat top (which he copied from me) since 1983.
