I'll look out for your shiny head Adam. Tomorrow is going to be more of a PR exercise for me re the 'next step' so i might only roll briefly. (I'd say everyone else will too due to weekend opening crowds.) I've skated it 2 nights and 1 arvo this week already. I think it's great. A little mellow, but all sorts of fun lines are possible.
man i didnt read it properly and im going to be there from bout 9ish .

its great to see it finished if only i wasnt on the other side of the world and i could skate it right now but the good thing is newcastle is catching up to the rest of the towns in austraila, skatepark wise. All we need is a decent skate park as you say "world class" ,also an indoor park is a good idea. Look into geting a grant or something. there is no money in it to be made, you would be investing in the facilities out of pure love for the sport and community.
much love newcastle skaters, enjoy the new place to roll
Good to see its finished and getting lots of use. I made this timelapse movie yesterday which shows how busy it is every day.. http://www.snowpics.net/img/16553
