anything is better than what we have got right now
and plus there is a meeting possibly this Friday to get some more views and "constryctive" feedback in regards to this prposed park so yea i think if all newy skaters want a good design, should maybe chip in a bit of feedback
That's really bad
Obviously on a tight budget judging by the size so I reccommend a nice simple bowl OR street plaza
If it was my ramp, I would make the platform wider, but there must be a reason why it's like it is....boardslides???
na man. it would have to be one of the shittest dtyle ramp i have eva skated. it soo not fun to skate, even though it looks good on plans
I've been waiting a long time for this, and I'm p.f. disappointed to say the least. Look around Newcastle! This set-up is a decade old. Why should Newcastle skaters be subjected to this same old rubbish when there are several modern parks in every other major city in the country!!! It used to bemuse me that Newcastle skaters had to travel all over the country to skate good public terrain. It was after all, part of the fun. Now however, Im offended by the fact that every busted-arse town in the country has a bowl or a pool, as well as street and new-school facilities, and we get shafted again. I dont want to hear the tight budget excuses. We live in one of the largest cities in the country, where do the other councils get their funds from?
Imagine if a rugby league field was proposed with only enough funds for one set of goal posts? Or maybe a netball field the size of a car space because thats all the council can afford! It doesnt happen. There really isnt any point building this park. Its already out of date. I was going to send some positive feed-back but Im too disgusted.
Gravel Burns.
Gravel burns,is your name Sean by any chance?I used to skate with Macca,Mark Cox,Ben Cox,Guy Chandler,Shane Ayerst etc... ages ago mate, used to skate Bishops Brifge alot and go to the old association comps, remember Ron Davis, owens father
The park at Mayfield needs more walls. Curved at the bottom, coping at the top, kind of kidney shaped, with a deep end and a shallow end and............ hang on a minute.
Surfer Sam. I'll meet your Bison and raise you a wooly mammoth. (Over the channel).
Nice pickin' Slaytanic.
