Bondi is a joke. (not of the haha variety)
I love this new park. The spine is awesome. The vert is also awesome and the park, well..
it's got worms.
bondi is ok if youre only there for the vert, but the street is a joke, that i agree
Bondi bowl is tonnes of fun! Woo!
You can't beat the atmosphere of the bowl when there is a large crowd happening. Maroubra has lost it's edge - crowd-wise, noone ever seems to meander from the beach to the park anymore.
Just thought I would share my thoughts.
yeah CG, sometimes it's nice to have a crowd when your having a good session, sometimes.
I'm kinda not into the crowds at Bondi all the damn time. It's too distracting. I feel like I'm at a bloody demo. I prefer to have a quiet skate with the lads (and a few skate betty's) and just concentrate on the stuff I want to try.
But what about when there are a pack of japanese tourists and they all clap at the smallest of tricks -- I'm a superstar!
The park is not that bad.
If you take into account they most probably had to please BMX bandits, and bladders it's pretty good.
Sure, I wouldnt rave over it, but it has it's good bits.
It's also supposedly coming out for the easter show, so it's possible they can modify it somehow.
But I dont know if it actually will.
There is 2 too many euro's though.
I find speed is hard to find in there in general. Maybe I need a new setup.
But, it's something different.
Why do you kids just sit there and whinge about the street course? Why not skate the two outdoor ramps instead?
^^^ me the kid ? hahahha, you funny....kid.
Because we are multi skilled people, who need to be able to ride it all. All terrain it's called , not mono terrain.
Strictly hardcore....... extreme even ............
Mick I really like Monster but have to admit I prefer Bondi. Its the carve lines. There is not one single corner to carve at monster. I know it must look strange to see me carve across the monster half pipe but thats what I like doing. Carving across the vert is like surfing for me. Going up and down it is like paddling out. If the miniramp had capsuled ends I would be there every day. Im hopeing that fivedock will be just that.
BTW if you like carve lines you should check out the shallow at the new Parra bowl. Wicked.
