I live in bathurst and yes it is finished it has been for about a week now,the bowl is even bigger in the flesh,the park is good for ppl who are good at bowl but if your not theres not much else there,its slippery too cause there is all dirt around the park and makes it slippery as fuck,and it fucks your bearings to.and there is always about 10000000 bikers there to.

Yet another example of how far behind the eight ball we are here in Newie. Every time I open a skatepark thread and see the new stuff everyfuckingwhere else in the state it makes me wanna puke.
Anyway, enough of that, it brings me down. It's too frickin' hot out there in the west at the mo', but come the autumn I'll pack my bmx eating dog, and a slab, and hit the high road.
I know the feelin gravel burns we have been waiting for this park for like 2 years,fuck yeah its to hot out here it has been like in the high 30's
Two years is like a minute in Newie time. We've been traveling for over twenty years, with no end in sight.
As for my dog, "his bite will be venemous, one turd will repel traffic".

talk about the heat, try skatin in 45+ weather everyday in the summer on steel ramps, oh the burns, best part is the swimin hole next to the skate park to cool down and perv

Combi bowl set up looks mighty fine.
Anyone know what became of that 13' deep cement 1/2 pipe built in late 80's up there in Bathurst ?

I got some in a Skatin' Life from about '88.....I'll see if I can remember to bring it to work tomorrow and scan some pics of the old concrete halfpipe.
It looked big for back then.
That halfpipe is covered in dirt and grass now.Too many people were hurting themselfs so the council covered it in dirt and it is now a hill next to the netball courts.
That place won't suck
It's got Dave Toms and Seb Steele working on it.
