That's all for now.
I have some video footage I will post when I work out to edit it....
(All photos are taken off the parks section as I only took stills of parks not listed on this site: Hughenden, Ingham, Ayre, Mareeba, Atherton...)
i'm originally from Canberra, but i reside in Townsville now, due to the fact that JCU was the only uni i could get into, haha
2nd stop Day2 was Winton - My old stomping grounds.
I worked as the shire engineer in Winton and couldn't believe when Council asked if I knew anything about "skate ramps" - to cut a long story short I ended up designing and building my own private skatepark...
The park looked just like when I left and still brought on a big smile.
After a coffee with the Council Overseer "Stocko" we headed north 200km to Hughenden.
Stocko was my left hand man in getting the park built and was instrumental in keeping costs down (I won't mention how for fear of incriminating us!)
As we drove thru Hughenden I saw this dodgey looking bank thingie...
I wasn't even going to stop but thought I might as well have a quick look...
As I walked up I noticed something behind!
Apart from being affected by the 4 foot stunting that so many parks seem to be afflicted by the park looked sick and didn't dissapoint...
After a lonesome thrash and not a local to be seen we headed on to Charter's Towers...
