and by the way 1000m is 1km
HAHAHAHAHHA
FUCK THAT MADE ME LAUGH!!
I think 68' to begin with and then probably never get the rest, you know same old story mick?
Hope it's open before I am an invalid, I'd be stoked!
Believe it when you see it! I think the saying goes.
Trev did a rodeo in his socks for 10 bucks at the easter show
First try of course
Sickunt!
Troglodite. We got vert but not for long. Email for details. Oh yeah. Got another option to. Me and Pang are going to West Beach for the weekend 25-26 Jun. Get an airfare sorted !!
Any news on Homebush anyone?
Last I recal reading the park was "alledged" to be opening in August.
End of November!!!
The parks surface is made from a synthetic material, strong as steel and bends like cardboard, I forgot its name someone help me with it...(THEY USED IT AT WOODWARD AND FLEW ALLOT OF IT FROM THE STATES??)
I'm not sure exactly when, but the park could be ready sooner than the end of November.
The surface is called hARD. It's ARDs (Australian Ramp Designs) own version of Skatelite, and is cheaper than importing Skatelite.
ARD have built themselves a new portable vert ramp which is the same dimensions as the Homebush ramp. At an event they recently supllied their ramp for in Taiwan (I think), many international Pros said that it was the best size and built ramp they had ever skated, due to the fact that it gave them more time and space to do their tricks.
With that said, I guess we're going to have a ramp that is bloody good by international standards.
They made the material themselves?
Thats Aussie know how for you!!
Let me guess VB cartons and superglue?
And yes I thought it was skatelite.
