why do you screw down the plywood at a 45 degree angle?

is it for strength or does it make it easier to bend?

both................

the streetpark stuff will get finshed and
the bowl will get a new surface when i
get back from Europe.

Anthony Bartolo 00:33 10/May/06

A new surface in the bowl!!!! Are you going to use the same material Tom?

"why do you screw down the plywood at a 45 degree angle?"

it also makes it generally smoother and faster, since you are less likely to be hitting up a join head on

yeah and your wheels only roll over a join in the ply 1 wheel at a time. so if your ply warps and sticks up u get a horrid big unridable crack.
