No More Mullet
No More Mullet 10:43 20/Apr/06

Location: In Rotary Park next to the pool near where the Newell Highway and Oxley Highway intersect

Description: Good wedge to wedge, dodgy four feet quarter on the left, decent three feet and four feet stepped quarter on the right. Good multipurpose funbox with quarter sides, wedge sides, two slide rails and box/rail on top. Bring a leaf blower for this one because as you can see from the photos it?s a bit ?how ya going?. On the plus side it does have a shade cloth over the top.

^ i went there once
stayed in a motel right opposite it

Skateparks that no longer exist: Blackmans Bay, Thats still there, its just no one wants to go there because if you look at Cam he will fight you.

Deviant 21:54 20/Apr/06

Yeah I couldnt find blackmans. It must have been obscured by all the scrub in teh area. I didnt want to linger for fear of getting bashed

Shep 23:02 20/Apr/06

Deviant, good job mate. This is what people should be doing - getting out, skating new shit, whether it be good or crap. Too many people, myself included, are spoilt for choices these days and rarely seek out different stuff. Skating stuff like the parks you posted is always the most fun, as your lines aren't drawn out for you. Keep it up man!

THIS PARK: "Location: View st, Wandobah Reserve, opposite the showground, south of the Oxley hwy

Description: six feet steel half pipe, unique three feet quarter which backs onto a five feet high brick wall (for wallrides), three feet high pyramid with grind rail). There will have to be more added to this site in the future for it to be more usable but what is here now is really great."

Its in gunnedah near tamworthand it has all new stuff but its a rampage design so it sorta sucks. The vert wall and everything else is still there tho.

draphthorse 23:03 20/Apr/06

Someone tried to drop in on the vert wall at gunnedah an axed himself!!

draphthorse 23:07 20/Apr/06

Well done with the findings tho. I never knew there was one in merriwa! The coonabarabran 1 is sick to skate! And just up the road from it is a rad 8 stair.

Is Cobar inland NSW, on the way too broken hill?

I remember as a wee fella stopping there on a family holliday. And there was a gnarly old vert ramp, probs a bit bigger than Mona in the park where we ate lunch. It was sketchy and I pussied out sliding down it, though my brother did. Am I thinking of the same park you've documented?
