im lookin into getn a digi slr and the main 2 i was lookin at are the canon eos 20d and 350d and i was just wondering if anyone had used the 350d cos i not sure if it good or not or if i shouold save up for something else or if anyone had any other recomendations
id have to recommend 20d, more creative control, no sync plug thingy on 350d so u need a hot shoe adapter if u want to use flash!!

I havn't shot with a 350D but I have held one in my hands and felt the controls and so on and to me it just felt like some kind of toy. If you havn't got any lenses already i'd suggest having a look at the D70.
if the 350d is in your vision... you're obviously not pro.... therefore your budget should be restricted... therefore i agree with Frank.C .... look at the D70... at the level you're at... it's great - just what you need.
i dont give a fuck if im politically incorrect... take it. ahah
350d feels more like a point and shoot or finepx thing rather than a professional camera!
dont get me wrong, u may not want it for 'pro' use but if your gona fork out for DSLR, get something a bit better than 350!
yeah... 350 isnt a professional camera.... its basically what most "high tech" non-slr digi's are.... pro-sumer (got the balls but not the pro feel)
and yes... i know its a digital slr... i was just like you and comparing it to the fucking point and shoot faggot non digital slr piece of shiiatsz
i think you guys are overlooking one of the most important factors in buying a camera. the lens system. it doesn't really matter if you start off on a 350d or d70. cameras quickly become superseded by a newer model (about every 2 years for canon and longer for nikon) but lenses last forever. put more money and more thought into your lenses. so all you skateboard fisheye fiends remember this, canon doesn't have a digi fish (as drew once discovered).
thanks for the sugesions, elder i obviously dont kno thats why i was asking cosi didnt wana waste my money, but i hav got slr experience i just geting anoyed with having to use film and not knowing wich shots work strait out, from that site it said the 20d and d70 are competing models so yeh il go with one of them :D
Is it really just a matter of cropping? I find the distortion in cropped photos from those superwide fisheyes to look much different from what a standard 15 or 16mm will produce.
