> 1ST RAMPED SLO-MO ATTEMPT
i got after effects yesterday,
heres my first attempt of ramped slo-mo
http://www.streetdemons.com/1strampedbro.wmv
(right click, save as)
That was super nice
i still say the perfect ramp is a smooth transitioning ramp where its almost impossible to tell where the slomo started and finished
that was fucking rad for a first attempt
ive been doing heaps and still cant do em for shit!
That was really good. Did you use foot contact with the board as your in and out points for the slo-mo?
nah i just guesstimated where the points should go then it worked and i was stoked
2nd ramped....

nice jamie, 2ed ones cool im borowing it ok or if ur tight ill get it of dly
mby its just me but i think in the second one you slowed it too much, i dunno just something looks wrong. first ones good tho
the audio on th 2nd clip is gold,
bite ty evans style and put the slo-mo on when they land.
and i wanna see some clips with grinds in them
I wonder how that 2nd clip would sound if you lock the audio so that it doesn't get ramped, then sync the position of people reacting to the end of the clip. (You know what I mean?)
mulhall....please explain that mumbo jumbo????AE still has me bit confused, still learing
Mick, you wouldnt even have to lock the audio
just export the ramp without the audio
then import the ramped file's video
and the audio from the orignal file into the timeline
heres my first one http://www.eengoedidee.nl/videoz/download.cgi?mem_id=53968&fil_unique=QsemltTM228AAF-nEok
http://www.eengoedidee.nl/parsefiles/?type=skateboarding&filename=ramped_clip.wmv
heres another link incase the other doesnt work
Bah.. too much fukn around PIG. Just import the whole clip and lock it.. Umm.. Actually you're probably right PIG. You would need more audio as the clips gonna be longer, so yeah, you're right. Bitch! hahaha..
Anyway BLANK. What you should try is load that clip and leave a marker where you start to hear ppl say "Oh". Then do your slo-mo thing to video channel only. After that's done, re-align the audio so that the "Oh" starts in the spot that it usually does (in line with the marker if it got moved with the slo-mo). Now you got a slo-mo clip with normal audio all the way.
I've probably explained badly and that's cause I aint used AE for a while. Been playing with combustion 4 instead.
