would a 20mm lens have a fisheye effect at all? or is it one of those things that would all depend

elder 10:11 06/Jul/05

not unless it says "fisheye" on the lens :P

look at what the angle of the lens is, if it reads 180 then its fish, if not, nope. put up a link and someone can tell you

Gosford 10:48 06/Jul/05

i believe it's a fisheye if it has barrel distorsion and if it dosnt then it's a wide or super wide angle

That's not a fisheye lens. Technically a proper fisheye lens is a 16mm lens with a 180 degree lens angle.

Yep, it goes by what lengths they are, ill scan up the table if anyone really cares, but its nothnig to do with distortion levels

1/ The F70 just has a standard Nikon F mount.

2/ yes

Newidude 13:30 06/Jul/05

Nikon were actually smart enough to never change there mount design throughout all there slr cameras. Maybe the one thing they have on Canon. But thats it.

Having a 10D means no EF-S lenses for me. Oh well, I'll shoot film.
