I'd say the best fisheye lens you can get for a canon DSLR would be the 8mm f/4.0 sigma one on the market. Although for the same price (a tad over $900) you could get the canon 15mm f/2.8, it'd still be wide enough and would maintain the fisheye effect on a digi.
