was hoping for better strikes shot 5 second intervals from the front gate in last nights storm
looks to me like a classic case of the old "selfie cover-up lightning strike"
Hey man, I just bought one. What video settings are you using? Your bmx shoot looks perfect . I shot some stuff on the weekend with my lad but when uploaded to YouTube looks jittery as fuck. Any help would be appreciated. I used Sony Vegas to edit.
Judging by what you post and the frequency of how often you've been doing it, have way too much time on your hands...
older than dirt ,
what settings are you using when you film?
i usually stick to 1280 x 720 at 60fps wide
its clean and crisp footage if you go any higher to 120fps the colors start to drain and you notice alot of noise
shooting at 1080 30fps to 60fps is nice you can change it to narrow view that allows you to shoot 1080 at 120 fps for super slowmo and because you have gone from wide to narrow it dost hurt the quality to much.
i use after effects for all my color corrections
the slowmo at 15 seconds is 120fps timestretched to 500% if i remember correctly shot narrow on 1080
but the real smooth slowmo at 25 seconds i used twixtor
the colors with the gopro 3 seem to be pretty overated i think they look super flat and require alot of work to get looking nice, alot of the time i just edit the footage to look washed out because its easier than making it look vibrant , this is washed out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cczp_3OEa-g
