oh and gosford, can you tell your friend to email me?? i will be selling it pretty cheap because im keen to get rid of it fast

i thought you said you were 'upgrading' chippy?
no offence to the vx2 peeps but heres a funny story.
I was recently flown some footage of some decent tricks by a random filmer and I was thinking,
'shame it was filmed on 1 chippas, not even good 1 chippas either, it even looks bad next to my crappy sony 1 chippa footage'
but off I went anyhow, ultimately happy with the free footage and all that with the 'cant complain if its free' attitude etc etc.. I edited with it, changed some colour settings, screwed with various other settings and finally messed with it enough so it didnt look too rank anymore. Quite proud of my efforts at restoring this obviously cheap and nasty chat camera to a usable level I decide that this said person could have some other worthy footage worth 'saving' so I hit said person up for more.
Then I found out that it was all filmed on vx2100 with mk2 death. Even I was shocked. My 1 chippa looked more 3-chip. I think that the reduced CCD size is more of a knightmare than I first thought. It might be all marketing to try and push the 3 chip sales point and cut back on the moolah.
its easy to make any cam look shit....when you know whats going on...and you are filming at night and late afternoon a lot, the vx2 is watcha
yeah, i figured as such, but wouldnt you say that a vx1 just 'works' out of the box no matter how 'bad' a filmer you are, yet a 2000 needs a degree in videography to make it work well.
yeah definately but im fanatical about making sure setting are good before filming....i cant bare the thought of taking a cam out of the bag and pressing record
the only thing that is gunna suck with this is the mk11
what have u done pig?
is that an mk1 screw on?

That must be fun when your filming a one try spot where you got like 30 seconds and 1 attempt before being booted.
chippy, the only thing you could possibly use a video camera for in this world is skateboarding, nothing else exists. from this statement, we conclude that society is merely a blend of skaters and guys who film them. since skateboarding videographers get very aggressive about defending their beloved vx1k, i suggest that you do exactly as they do, or risk being ostracized from the skateboarding filmer's alliance and thus ineligible to use a camera again.
what else do you use a video camera for?
oh yeah, sorry I forgot.
Porn...
and simon wolf , one of the kings of the industry, uses vx1000's exclusively. Better flesh tones than any other 3 chippa. :-)
chippy, wouldnt you be better of with a dvx than a vx? Has that fo-film look so you can make real movies and shit.
fair point, let me edit my post...
