> NEW FULL FRAME CANON DIGITAL?
Yeh i mentioned the KM camera in one of my other posts,
the 5d's look like fucken good cams though (talknig bout the KM one, not the mythical canon version) except im not sure if i wanna go with it or the pentax *ist because of lense choice, ill look into that later,
Ive been watching DPREVIEW and havent seen anythnig about new canon digitals yet, and they are usually first, probly came from photographyrumours.com or something
nah, everything i'm hearing suggests its real. also a 24-105 f4L IS lens. the lens isn't that much use to me but the camera would go very nicely with the 1dmarkII. bit pissed off i just forked out for a housing for the 1d when this cam would be heaps better for shooting from the water.
fucken oath people on the forums have been going nuts about it though. almost enough to get me away from the computer and out taking some photos :)
it doesn't make sense from a marketing perspective. the 5d would be a major competitor for the 1dsmkii, which was only just released. i'm sure a lot of landscape photogs and the like shooting at the wide end would rather save a few grand and get the 5d.
yeah... sounds like bullshit to me...
i always been thinking that they'd keep the full frame sensor to the high end shit....
they wouldn't have a 5D with full frame and have 1D mk II sitting at 1.3 (but then again... Mk III or Mk2 replacement is coming out early next year)
